All The Way - look design
As part of the Aputure film competition, Director Aaron Holden and Cinematographer Rai Santosa had 48hours to write, shoot and edit a short film using Aputure lights.
Knowing that a full grade was not ideal with the time restraints , Rai reached out in prep and asked if a LUT could be made that would provide the desired look and work for the entire project.
Provided with a brief description of the enviroment, atmosphere and desired feel, I designed the look above which was used on set as well as applied to the edit before submission.
This lut would also later be used as a starting point in the final grade for public release.
